Enjoy Your Temple
The simplest way to get involved is to come to Temple! The more you hang out here and the more women you get to know, the more comfortable and at home you will feel.

If you like coming to scheduled events, see the Calendar for a listing. Sunday dinners are an especially good time to meet other Temple women.

Or just come and use the space to nourish your spirit (see What do you do here? in the Temple FAQ). Your mindful loving presence at Temple is a blessing in itself.

Support Temple Fun-Raisers
Temple puts on frequent fun-raisers such as garage sales, dances, Healing Fairs, and art auctions. Have fun and support your Temple—all at the same time.

Come to Temple dance parties! Our last-Saturday-of-the-month dance parties have been fabulous but under-attended. They have the potential to become one of Portland's hottest women's events. Come to the next one (see the Calendar) -- bring your friends -- tell your circles. Pick up flyers at the Temple and spread them around.

Help Out
Whether you are handy with a broom, a database, or a screwdriver, Temple can use your love. Have an idea for a project? See something that needs doing? E-mail us at fullcircletemple@yahoo.com with your ideas, enthusiasm, and energy.

Current opportunities for service include:

Templekeepers. As a Templekeeper, you have a key to the Temple, and can go there to cleanse and bless the space, organize, do projects, or offer tours and tea to visitors. Templekeepers typically offer 2 hours of service per week, and you can arrange your commitment to fit your schedule. Templekeeping is a wonderful way to meet Spirit-minded women, and to feel more at home at the Temple. Contact Carol at catbird@teleport.com.

Party Posse. Contrbutors are needed for the circle that produces Temple dance parties. Plan party themes and special events, do publicity, partner with other organizations. A great opportunity for community-building, creativity, and getcha-groove-on magic-making. Contact fullcircletemple@yahoo.com.

Temple Treasure. Keep the books, pay bills, receive and track donations, attend Council meetings, make financial reports. It takes just a few hours a month, and you don't have to be some kind of accounting supergenius. Contact fullcircletemple@yahoo.com.

Healing Hands Donor Coordinator. Send out donation reminder envelopes and healing certificates, promote the Healing Hands program, help set and achieve membership goals. Commitment is four to eight hours a month. Contact fullcircletemple@yahoo.com.

Make Offerings
Temple relies on our offerings of money and supplies. For tangible items that Temple needs, see the Temple Wish List.
Money is an especially powerful way to support the Temple. Money is crystallized energy. It represents our time and our work. Where we send it, we also direct the force of our will.

By committing to donate each month, we provide reliable, sustainable support for the Temple. Our offerings, no matter how large or small, are multiplied with those of other women. Together, we share in the magical cycle of abundance, trusting that our offerings will return to us many times over.

Plus, when we donate each month, we become members of the Healing Hands program. This means we receive free services donated by a phenomenally talented group of healers, bodyworkers, psychics, counselors, and other wise women who love the Temple.

The number of services is based on the amount of your donation—one session per year for each $5 per month. For example, if you donate $20/month, you receive four free healings per year!

Temple Wish List
Items for the garage sale (especially furniture and high-quality housewares, clothes not so much)… toilet paper… firewood… light bulbs… tea and herbs… candles… smudge… tools… kitchen staples like flour, spices, grains, beans, canned food, and nuts… a chain saw… a water filter for the kitchen… a new handle for the back door…

Come to Temple Council
If you have a concern you need to get off your chest—if you're feeling isolated and you want to plug into the heartbeat of your community—if you want to see the miracle of consensus in action—come to Council. We circle to make decisions about business, financial, and policy matters for the Temple. Our meetings are juicy, productive, and surprisingly fun. New members are always welcome. Join us!
