SNOWBOARDING Snowboarding is one of my favorite past times. Jake and I love going together because we have a similar pace, although I'm sure he would like to go faster at times. We love Squaw Valley USA http://squawvalleyusa.com as it seems to have been made for boarders. You know those areas where you end up losing speed, having to undo your binding, possibly both bindings. It sucks! Especially in the nasty wet weather we get on Mt. Hood. We have skied (yes, I was a skier for 16 years before converting. I was on the ski team in high school and became a Certified Professional Ski Instructor, Level 1 the year before I started boarding...is it obvious yet that once I started I never turned back?) at Whistler/Blackholm, Mt. Hood, OR, and all over Lake Tahoe. Some of my other favorites are Sugar Bowl, Kirkwood and the old home town resort, Mt. Rose. WHATEVER I'LL ADD IT LATER |
