Okay, most probably aren't interested, but because I submitted this URL for the memory book for the ten year high school reunion, I feel somehow obligated to share what I've been up to the last ten years.
I'll make it quick and hopefully less painful.
After high school, moved to Portland to go to Reed College. Studied cognitive psychology. While in college, started Clarity Innovations, Inc. doing teacher training regionally about using the Internet effectively in the classroom and curriculum.
Shortly thereafter, I was recruited to join the Oregon Educational Technology Consortium and help the nonprofit diversify its membership, grow its vendor relations, and institutionalize much of its processes. After serving as OETC's Executive Director for nearly three years, I decided to go back full-time to Clarity Innovations, Inc.
While I was gone, Clarity continued to grow and be active in the educational community. On a few occasions I had the opportunity to do some pretty cool things with other foundations, such as this one. Nowadays, I serve as Clarity's President/CEO, which is just a fancy way of saying I'm still a work-o-holic. :-)
On the home front, Nicole Daughters and I are still together after 10+ years. We've had our ups and downs like all healthy relationships but have "turned the corner" and the future for us is looking good. Married? Nope. Not yet. :-) Kids? Unless you count the cat (Milo) and the dog (Saydee). Clarinet? Not since college. But I still enjoy attending the Oregon Symphony regularly. Nicole bought a house in 1997 and we occasionally attempt to make home improvements.
